Join the All Souls Holiday Food Drive for Women in Recovery

The holiday season is a time of giving, warmth, and community spirit. At All Souls, we believe in making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us. This year, we are excited to announce the All Souls Community Food Bank’s holiday initiative to support Women in Recovery.

Revisiting a Cherished Tradition

In past years, our congregation’s enthusiastic participation in December food drives has been remarkable, providing numerous reverse advent food boxes to local organizations; this year, however, we’re refocusing our energy into a more targeted approach.

This Year’s Mission: 36 Holiday Food Boxes

Our goal is to assemble and donate 36 Holiday Food Boxes to Women in Recovery. With your help, we can fill these boxes with joy and sustenance. The Food Bank will provide most of the food items, but we need your contributions for a few specific items.

Here’s How You Can Help:

We’re collecting the following items, which are not currently available at the Food Bank:

  • Jelly or Jam (18-27 oz, plastic containers preferred)
  • Instant Oatmeal Packets (boxes)
  • Green Beans (15-20oz cans)
  • Brownie Mix

Please bring your donations to the church by Wednesday, Dec 20, and place them in the grocery cart set up in the foyer.

Join Us for a Packing Party!

On Thursday, Dec 21, from 12:30-3:30 pm in the President’s Room, we’ll gather to pack the boxes. We need volunteers for this festive and fulfilling task. To join, please email CRB@AllSoulsChurch.org.

Financial Contributions Are Also Valuable

If you prefer to make a monetary donation, you can give directly to CRB and select “Women in Recovery” for the memo.

Let’s Make a Difference Together

This holiday season, let’s come together as a community to create a happier holiday for Women in Recovery. Every item, every contribution, and every helping hand brings us closer to making a significant impact in the lives of many. You can learn more about Women In Recovery here.
