Can We Talk About Abortion?

Yes, we can.  In light of the leaked draft Supreme Court opinion related to Roe v. Wade, we have to. So, I’m sharing this Braver Angels Podcast about abortion featuring an all-women panel — two Reds and two Blues.  The episode is helping lots of people navigate this painfully divisive issue with family, friends, and community members.

Can We Talk About Abortion? | April Kornfield, Alma Cook, Sage Snider, & Mónica Guzmán.

I hope to share something helpful and hopeful every week. The good news is that more people than ever are paying attention to this threat to freedom. Which is good, because it’s time for a larger vision.

As defined by SisterSong, the Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, justice includes the human right and ability:

● To maintain personal bodily autonomy

● To have children

● To not to have children

● To parent children in safe and sustainable communities

Let’s not let people who are using abortion and religion as political tools to win elections and wield political power, distract us from these goals.  Knowing these freedoms are threatened, you may want to get involved. If so, please email me at bprose@allsoulschurch.org
