Thank you to everyone who attended All Souls Fills Empty Bowls, the annual fundraiser for the All Souls Community Resource Bank! We raised over $2700 to serve our community partners with staple groceries, fresh produce, frozen meat, and breads. Through the year we work with Vernon AME, Lindsay House, Empower Families, Women in Recovery, the Day Center, and our Partners in Education school Unity Learning Academy. If you were unable to attend and would like to support the Community Resource Bank, go to AllSoulsChurch.org – click Donate, and choose Community Resource Bank in the dropdown menu.
Here’s how we enjoyed this lovely evening!
Over 20 beautiful bowls were auctioned thanks to the generosity of local artists.
We couldn’t have held the event without our dedicated volunteers!
Rachel Mize guided our community in creating this beautiful bowl – it was won in the raffle by Shirley Lastinger.
Berkeley Shouse led us in cookie decorating, our delicious Em-Power Bowl dinners were created by John Boston and Joe Nurre, and MC Brian Cross kept us entertained.
Thank you, everyone!
